Barring some sort of catastrophe, I assume I'm the next Baron/Sheriff (probably sheriff) of Slaughter Creek. Wilhelm will serve as PM/clerk (again, probably clerk). My first order of business is fairly simple: figure out what to do about attendance. There really are only two options:
1. Revive our numbers by getting members to come back and newbies to come in
2. Call it quits and have members join a new park like Nocturnis or Talonfield
I'm going to give option 1 a try, at least until option 2 becomes the only course of action. To start, I will be attending regularly at 2 p.m. every Sunday. I also know that we need to do more to attract new blood. Luckily, there are more methods to do so online than ever before, so if anyone knows any websites or search engines that could facilitate this, please let me know.
I will be the official contact for the park, so here's my contact info:

I look forward to seeing our numbers go back to Duchy levels.

Well if we can work some quests into the mix, I will be willing to help create/participate in those type of things, if Slaughter Creek needs things like that, lets see what we can do...
I really like a park that is within 10 minutes of my house... |

This weekend I will be out. I don't think I'll get back from out of town in time to hit Slaughter Creek. I should be out again on December 6.

Today saw a great turnout. About 11 people. Might not seem like much, but to me it was awesome. Some old faces we got to see: Chango, Bresil, and some old fighter guy from last summer (can't remember his name). Not only was Amtgard fun, but we got to play volleyball with some local yahoos after the fighting. Again, I invite anybody and everybody to come out.

Excellent!
This last Sunday we say a good number of fighters out at Slaughter Creek. While that has happened before, this time we actually saw people that have a good chance of returning. We had 10 fighters on the field, not including me (I'm injured and stuck to reeving). Hope to see the numbers continue to rise. We'll have hot dogs and chips available this weekend for our populace.

Another good showing this weekend. We had over 10 people. Best of all, we had people come BACK from the week before and visitors from an Amtgard group made up of ACC students from Pinnacle campus (they didn't have a name for their group yet). We also provided hot dogs and watermelon for our members. Here's to hoping numbers keep going back up! Viva the summer revival!
