Hey everyone, I'm new to the Kingdom, might as well be new to the area, and quit playing Amtgard about 8 years ago. Now I'm considering getting back in and came out this past Saturday but didn't see anyone out at the park. Do you guys still come out on Saturday or just attend fighter practice on Wednesday? I'm also planning to attend TKM this weekend so hope to see you guys out there as well!

Is this the same Daryth that I met long time ago in Lake Charles, LA? Anyway, I believe the only Saturday park is located in Cedar Park, TX which is the Shire of Nocturnis. I'm not aware of any other Saturday park if your trying to locate a Saturday park to play at. If you are the Daryth that I met at Lake Charles, LA (Wetlands) I would like to catch up on some old times. Take care and hope to see you out.

Heh, yeah, I'm probably that Daryth as I'm the only Daryth I know, heh. We "Darkmoorians" would travel to that park all the time.

I could list my titles and accomplishments but that probably matters little here in the new kingdom. You would probably remember me better by my ol Geo Tracker, I was Duke for a bit and champion of the park plenty. Back in the day I had long hair, wore a black headwrap, had armored mechs when armored mechs weren't cool (made those myself, lol) and usually played Warrior or Healer. I was probably known for being a mean guy, was definitely known for my lengthy courts. (i'm probably still as bad today) Daryth Kahn (notice the mis-spelling to show it's a name and not a title) was my full name and I had a white tabbard, squires belt, ... okay... had a few tonight so I'm probably a bit overly prolific. (like my courts!) So yeah, anyway,

Tori-Mar is defunct except for fighter practice on wednesday nights. Nocturnis meets on saturday in north austin and Slaughter Creek is on Sunday in south austin.

Went out to check out the fighter practice tonight but didn't see anyone around. Ah well, another day another time I suppose. Looks like I'll be checking things out at TKM!

I dunno what park it was. It's the park on the right just after Yager heading south on Lamar. Of course with my sense of direction that might really be Sherwood Forest.

*edit* Ah, i just noticed my error. I've been going off the directions off of the CK homepage when you go to provinces/tori-mar. I see above (now - lol) that it's in a different spot.

Ah well, I really was in Sherwood Forest!

Yeah, you can park on the side of the road all along the sides of the park, its in a neighborhood area.
